Midhurst Cricket Club is a progressive club, and our senior cricket comprises three Saturday sides playing in the Hampshire Cricket League pyramid; the 1st XI has been promoted 2 years running and now plats in County division 1. There is also one Sunday side playing friendly matches and two evening sides which play in a local midweek league.
The club has a flourishing Junior section with sides playing league cricket at U16, U15, U14, U13, U12, U11, U10 and U9. We also have practice sessions for U9, U8 and U7 with more than 200 junior members registered in 2008. Practices are currently on Friday evenings and the Midhurst Cricket Academy for U9 to U14 will operate on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings with formal coaching, for all, from qualified coaches. Dates will be published as soon as they are known.
Our ground, adjacent to the Ruins of an early Tudor Mansion, is located within the surroundings of the beautiful Cowdray Park, not only the home of Midhurst CC, but also the home of British Polo, with some of the finest polo pitches in the world.
